This is not an enhancement request. There is an update to the annual release version 12 effective 5/25/2011

High – Add a check box in the edit referrer window to “Add to Co-therapist” so that the staff does not need to re-add that Dr to the co-therapist section.

I am having an issue with this section of the patient info center. Typically patients are referred to us by GP's or specialist. We need to be able to communicate with both. The way I have it originally setup, was the GP under the "gen dent" subtitle and the spesialist under the "referred by" subtitle. The only issue was that when we went to generate stats on who is referring to us, by default it only pulls the info from the "referred by" subtitle. So the info was inaccurate. Daniel (support person) suggested we place the specialist under the "more referrals" tab, but there is no merge variable under the EMR for this section. Additionally he suggested we place the specialist under the cootherapist tab. However we care using them for MD's and other medical professionals to communicate with. Is there anyway to have the referral stats pull data from the "gen dent", "referred by" and so on...

We are having an issue with this as well. Most patient have multiple visits for different procedures. We are having to printout the treatment plans on separate sheets. Is there anyway to have the different stages of the treatment, stage I & stage II and so on visible on one sheet?

1 – Completed in the PIC in 2010 release.
2 – Look at pre-registration as how they are labeled in the 2010 release.

The phone directory on the patients need a little fine-tuning. Its really hard to go back a forth between the pts info center and the extended phone list. Very hard to change number and their labeling. Please make this more user friendly, with the option of labeling them as cell phone, other... and so on. May be something like the iPhone dropdown menu....

VERY High Priority
1 – When creating an RX cross compare the Patients drug allergies.
2 – Look at Lexicomp
3 – Prevent RX from being written if a allergy is found
4 – Make this a preference setting
5 – Expand the Allergies tab (clearly define allergies separate from the medication allergies) to be able to pull from the list of medications that are prescribed by the office.May 25 – the new eprescribe module will perfomr this function

VERY High Priority – Add combine button to pre-reg so that you can combine duplicated patients.
1 – Create an audit trail of all patients combined.
2 – Pop a warning "are you sure you want to continue?
3 – Add a radio buttons to pre-registration to be able to view combined patients.
4 – Add a restore or undo button in the event that a mistake was made and the combined patient pre-registration needs to be restored.

We have also noticed this as well. The orientation of the name, last, first, nickname...should be uniform in all the different sections of the software to avoid these types of gliches.

This is huge problem right now. We have about 60% of the GPs emailing the xrays. We have no way of attaching them to the pts in pre-reg. This forces us to save the images in individual folder on the desktop, then paste them when the patient shows up for the appt.

I have noticed when in the EHR if you press CTRL Z (to undo) the entire program crashes. This happens everytime.
Also if you try to use the short key CNRL C and CTRL V, to copy and paste, it pastes the same info twice.
Lastly, when in the EHR if you go back and edit any previous notes, the title of the note is erased, requiring us to manually type it in again.
